🌙 About the Graha

Chandra, the Moon, governs emotions, intuition, relationships, and mental health. When afflicted in a horoscope, it may cause mood swings, anxiety, misunderstandings, or instability. Chandrama Shanti Pooja is a Vedic remedy to balance lunar energy and restore emotional harmony and clarity.

📖 Kahaniyan (Stories Behind the Pooja)

  • Chandra’s Curse and Shiva’s Grace: Chandra once showed favoritism among his wives, leading to a curse by Daksha. His light began to fade until Lord Shiv placed him on his head, restoring balance. This story reflects how divine intervention and humility can heal emotional imbalance.
  • Ganesha’s Moon Lesson: After Ganesh fell from his mouse and was mocked by Chandra, he cursed the Moon. Later, the curse was softened, teaching that ego and ridicule disturb emotional peace. Chandrama Shanti Pooja helps dissolve such karmic patterns.
  • Moon and Mind Connection: In Ayurveda and Jyotish, the Moon is linked to the mind. A calm Moon brings manasik shanti, while a disturbed Moon causes restlessness. This pooja realigns the mind with cosmic rhythm.
